From about 1.30 to 2.30pm today, people on campus had Internet access and the YSU domain, including CUE-mail, was available off-campus. This may happen daily during the strike, but I would assume that it will be at different times each day.

In the news.

The TV stations WFMJ and WYTV have articles on their websites. The Tribune-Chronicle and Vindicator have coverage as well.

In other news, rec center construction is on hold as the contractors working on it have decided not to cross the picket line. No word on if this will delay its opening.

One thing just occurred to me about the YSU domain not being available. Students who use their CUE-mail to receive credit card statements, scholarship notifications or anything important should probably change the email address to something else if possible. Not only can you not access your accounts from home, but email sent to them may bounce back.
